Service Project at Munroe Elementary
Join us for an impactful service project at Munroe Elementary on Saturday, August 10th! The Lion Project in partnership with the Family and Community Engagement department, is excited to announce the next initiative in our series of school service projects aimed at supporting local communities. At Munroe Elementary, we will create a food and necessities market within the school, providing families with essential items such as food, clothing, toiletries, and household products. This market will ensure that no family goes without basic needs.

Project Overview:
The service project will involve:
- Painting designated areas within the school to create a welcoming environment for the market.
- Building shelves and clothing racks to organize and display donated items efficiently.
- Organizing donated items into the market
How You Can Help:
This service project is a twofold initiative:
- Volunteer Participation:
- Volunteers and business partners are invited to join us on the day of the project to help with painting, setup and organizing. Your hands-on involvement will be crucial in bringing this market to life.
- Donation Drive:
- We are gathering donations to stock the market with essential items. Donations can include non-perishable food, fresh fruits, dairy products, meat, clothing, toiletries, and household items.
- Donations will be collected leading up to the event, with a final drop-off at Munroe Elementary on the day of the service project.
