Meet Heidi, a Colorado native and proud wife and mother. After spending several years as a stay-at-home mom and working in the optometry field with her father, Heidi was eager to explore new opportunities to make a difference in the world. She was introduced to Sandinista tequila through her cousin and was immediately drawn to their mission and values. As a representative for Sandinista, Heidi is excited to be part of such an exciting start-up in the world of spirits. She’s also thrilled to be working with the Lion Project, a cause she deeply believes in. With her outgoing and adventurous spirit, Heidi is always eager to make new connections and explore new opportunities to give back to the community.
Brandi McMichael (formerly Shigley) is the Director of Marketing and Events. With her extensive experience in community building and event planning through her organization, Fashion Denver, she puts her passion for the tools that she’s been equipped for to bring events and marketing efforts to life. McMichael has been involved with the Lion Project for the past 6 years. When she isn’t working in the Lion Project HQ, you can find her heading up CreativeMornings Denver or working on fun projects with her husband and architect, Patrick McMichael.

He is happily married to Claire Ferry and is a proud father of four beautiful children, Rome, Vida, Hendrix, and Boone. Originally from Southern California, he has made a life for himself in Denver, Colorado.
