Naomie Pierre-Toussaint, the Secretary of the Board for the Lion Project, seamlessly blends her legal expertise as an Associate Attorney at Katz, Look & Onorato, P.C. Specializing in estate planning and fiduciary tax, Naomie, originally from Miami, Florida, earned her B.A. in Communications from Florida International University and her J.D. from the University of Idaho, College of Law. Actively engaged in the legal community, she is a member of the Denver Bar Association and Colorado Bar Association. Within the Lion Project, Naomie ensures legal and ethical integrity, contributing her skills to drive impactful and responsible initiatives. In her leisure, she enjoys murder mystery books, sporting clays at Kiowa Creek Sporting Club, and cherished moments with family and friends.

Bridgett Mbanusi, serving as Chair of Business Partnerships for the Lion Project, joined the board in 2023 and has been an active Denver community member since 2016. She’s dedicated to social causes, serving with God Behind Bars, Denver Rescue Mission, and currently on the Boards for Volunteers of America and the Housing Committee. In her 13-year role as a wardrobe consultant at the Tom James Company, Bridgette has significantly impacted professionals, enhancing their confidence through refined attire. Personally, Bridgette, happily married to Frank Mbanusi, is an enthusiastic church member, engaging in Bible study. The couple shares a passion for travel, creating cherished memories. Bridgette’s commitment embodies the Lion Project’s spirit, balancing community service and personal pursuits.

After 18 years of living in Atlanta, Bethany Latzko moved to Colorado to attend CU Boulder and never looked back. She graduated, moved to Denver, and hopped right into the accounting industry, doing the books for a local restaurant group and then a worldwide commercial real estate company. Her decade+ of accounting experience gives her an edge in finding sound financial investments for her clients.
During those years of accounting, Bethany made her own exciting investments in real estate, creating a wide portfolio of rental properties and remodeling projects. Via her own endeavors, she has developed an extensive network and a contact for every aspect of home ownership and property management. She understands the value of tenant and contractor retention, especially in our fast–paced Colorado market, and feels fortunate to work in one of the top US real estate cities.
