Spencer Thomas proudly embraces her “wanna-be Coloradan” status, but her Midwest roots run deep—she hails from Detroit, Michigan! As a Morning News Anchor for Channel 2 Daybreak & FOX31, Spencer has built a career in journalism, working in markets across the country, including Portland, Oregon; Burlington, Vermont; and Detroit, Michigan. Through her journey, one thing has always remained constant: her passion for giving back. Spencer has volunteered with dozens of nonprofits, making a meaningful impact in every community she’s called home.
She believes kindness is the universal language and lives by the mantra that you can never go poor by giving. Now, she’s thrilled to channel her energy into creating local change with The Lion Project, helping make a difference in the Mile High City—her favorite stop yet.
