Dan Kessler is a versatile entrepreneur and real estate developer with over a decade of experience. He is the founder and CEO of 1KESS Ventures and the co-founder and managing partner of K2 Developers, specializing in converting hotels and developing workforce housing in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and Naples, Florida.
Previously, Dan worked in private equity real estate and a public REIT, closing over $4 billion in transactions. He has also held executive roles in hospitality with Marriott International and MGM Resorts International.
Civically active, Dan is a Biden Presidential Appointee on the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars, a member of the Truman National Security Project, and a founding board member of the Future Caucus. He has served on the National Finance Committees for a U.S. President and three Presidential campaigns.
Dan’s honors include 40 Under 40 awards from the Philadelphia Business Journal and City & State Pennsylvania, the 30 Under 30 award from PoliticsPA, and being a runner-up for the Democracy Innovation Award at the World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg, France.
He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BBA in Finance from George Washington University.
